Reflection 

I found looking for a speech topic was hard because I had lots of other speech topics in my head  

I found writing my speech because I new lot's of fact about planes

I found it easy to do these fractions because I knew what to do I found the last one tricky forgot what to do Next time I will try to remember how to work those ones out.    

Persuasive Writing

WAL to identify persuasive techniques.  We had to figure out which technique they were using.  We had practised these techniques in the skits we created.  For example

They dress up like a scientist so we believe their expert opinion

30 Seconds has a slogan :”Spray and Walk Away”

Emotional Appeal makes you feel guilty if you don’t use the product

The technique I found easiest to remember is repetition means repeating a word 

The technique that was hardest was remember what bandwagon means

WAL to identify bias in a text.  We had to highlight the words that showed Koro Apirana being biased.  He would be mean to Kahu because he wanted a boy to be the chief but Kahu was next in line and she is a girl.  

I thought this activity was

tricky to find where he was being biased.

The easiest part was the ones where it said he was grumpy with her.

 The hardest part was where it didn’t say it very clearly.

This activity was really interesting.

We were learning to sequence and summarise.  We had to put the chapters in order and write what was hte important parts of the chapter.

it was tricky to think of the sentences because it was hard to remember what was in the book. I am proud of doing this activity  and remembering the chapters next time I will use more words.

WALT to make connections between the real world and a text.

Room 20 has been reading the book Bridge to terabithia in the story it was raining really hard and the creek was swollen and flooded yesterday it was pouring here as well so we decided to do some authentic learning .

We made some raincoats from jumbo plastic bags and walked down to see the creek behind our school we could see the water flowing fast and the plants that had been flattened.

I was tricky to write this argument because I have never read the book I found it easy to write the the sentence because I have hared some of  the book next time I will try to more explanation.

The best thing about youth town was playing buddies up and buddies down.  I found multi-sports the most challenging game because the skills were hard to do.   I learnt how to play a sport with 20 players.  I

Term 1 Week 6

This week are house points boxes have arrived and are badges have arrived we also have a head girl and head boy

we have also been to camp camp was fun we learnt about sir peter Blake sir peter Blake was a famous sailor he won the round the world race cup four time  because of that he was knight wale we were at camp we did lots of activates we did abseiling which is blackly walking down a wall we had two caribiners ached to us and we put on a helmet and we where ached to a safety caribiners on so we did not fall down the wall we have done surfing and stack'em  stack'em is an activity where you where a full body harness and someone passes you crates then you clip them in and stand on them then once your crates fall then it is game over you have to try to use all the crates stack'em was fun==][#

I an learing how write a have you ever or did you ever poem.  It was hard because it was tricky to think of the sentences.  Next time I could do more slides and I could ask for help.

Term 1 Week 2

Today is Friday and week 2 we have new math. like area and new art witch is printing  we also have jobs to like stacking the chairs and watering the plants. We also have a swimming team we have also learnt new maths games like strike it out  and traffic lights. We also have a new house points system we also have been marking a big fifty for a whole school photo we can also deliverer. Milk to the whole school we also have youth town and going to have bike skills. We also have ticks let me tell you what ticks. Are when you are caught doing the right thing in the class room then you get a tick we also have camp. Next week well this is the end of my story by.
